“Samsung launches Galaxy next S6 own mobile payment ‘ NU nl

Samsung would work together as possible for their own payment system Looppay. That company does not perform mobile payments with a so-called NFC chip in phones, but with a removable plastic block.

Looppay

Looppay been selling covers for existing phones in which a piece of the can be pushed back. All information of linked credit cards is stored in that block. The block can be held at a payment terminal to complete the transaction.

The difference with example Apple Pay, which works with NFC is that all companies with a credit card terminal Looppay payments can accept without modification.

Galaxy S6

Samsung will, according to the sources of DDaily its own payment service along with the Galaxy S6 launch. The smartphone is expected to be presented March 1st. How the service will be integrated into the phone is not known. The current Looppay sleeves make a phone a lot thicker.

There have been going longer rumors about its own payment system from Samsung. The service would also work with future smart watches of the company. Until now it was unclear when the payment would be launched.

Apple Apple announced in September to Pay. The service was launched in October in the United States.
