Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12 2 hands on

To put it another way, the Note Pro 12.2 is closer to a 13″ ultrabook than a 10″ tablet. In fact, after using it for a few days while writing the review, we were stumped how small something like the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 looks.
The Note Pro 12.2 is heavier than 10.1″ tablets too, so you are better of resting it against a desk or a table if you are going to use it for more than a few minutes. We suspect getting one of the cases that can hold up the tablet like a kickstand will be a worthwhile investment.
We tried our hand at drawing whit the S Pen too and appreciated the extra room the bigger screen has. It’s also great that apps can be set to disregard touch input, so you can rest your palm on the screen while you use the S Pen (which works with a separate digitizer).
Samsung has also updated the Multi-window multitasking feature, which now supports up to four apps. If it sounds excessive, consider that four apps running on the screen get the equivalent of a 6.1″ 1280 x 800 screen each, plus a Krait 400 or Cortex-A15 core.
Check out the updated TouchWiz interface in action below:
We’re almost done with the review and we’ll be publishing it soon.

Project Ara Toshiba announces first photo sensors modules of 13 and 5 Mpix
If Yezz company, which recently designed a hundred modules for Project Ara is expected to firm up at MWC 2015, Toshiba recently formalized two picture sensor modules 13 and 5 Megapixels and a front camera module 2 megapixels for the modular Google smartphone.
Although only 5 megapixels, the smaller of the two sensors dosaux offers photosites of 1.12 microns, which should enable it to properly capture light despite its lower resolution. It displays a thickness of 6.4 mm. Thicker, the sensor 13 Megapixel displays a thickness of 7.1 mm with the photosites of a size 1.4 microns. It should give excellent results.
The big advantage of Project Ara is that it offers the user the opportunity to share the different components of its smartphone for higher-end modules. In other words, no need to change to change smartphone if you want to have a better photo sensor as simply just replace it. The latest technologies will be accessible more easily since the user will only have to buy new modules and not a “whole” smartphone.
The Project Ara will be officially launched by year end on the Puerto Rican market. The unit should also benefit from a battery module designed by SolidEnergy Company, offering an energy density twice that of current batteries.
Very involved in the Project Ara, Toshiba has dedicated a section of its site modular smartphone Google which are compiled many technical details to which you can access via the source link below. In the video you can find at end of article, it is the 5 megapixel sensor that you will see in action.

Embedded DisplayPort 1 4a opens the door to computers with screens 8K
Screens with very high resolution slowly starting to hole, and more and more computers display well above definitions to 1920 x 1080 pixels Full HD appellation. But if the screens “Retina” are obviously very attractive for their display finesse, the most high-end models may represent true integration nightmares for manufacturers. To market its iMac with Retina 5K display, Apple eg had to create a home component to handle 14.7 million pixels incredible slab. The screen 5K Sony, it requires the joint use of two DisplayPort cables. After the announcement of DisplayPort 1.3 will allow the use of external displays 5K and even 8K with a single cable (read: From DisplayPort 1.3 for 5K screens), VESA Association has announced the arrival of a new standard, Embedded DisplayPort 1.4a, which will allow laptops and desktops to manage an internal display 8K, ie a definition of 7680 x 4320 pixels.
VESA is expected of the first uses of this new standard next year. It should of course not expect the integration of 5K or 8K screens in laptops in 2016, but this novelty will make less exceptional and therefore less expensive integration of displays at the top definition in designation 4K. The iMac Retina 5K is still only in its market, but this should not last!
