Samsung Galaxy Indulge is one of very first 4G network technology smartphone. The casing is of plastic and it fits in pretty nicely in your hands. This smartphone supports Android operating system and is also one of the first to use 4G on Android operating system. The display of Samsung Galaxy Indulge is 3.5 inch, which is slightly larger than most of the smartphones out there, however the screen resolution is limited to only 320 x 480 pixels. The four physical buttons have no backlight to help them glowing therefore it is very difficult to see them in the dark. It has a sliding QWERTY keyboard, which slides horizontally out from the bottom of the screen. As far as the user interface goes, the Indulge supports Android 2.2.1 Froyo and has been updated to Samsung’s Touch Wiz interface. The phone supports 7 home screens with widget selection and the buttons of the screen are shortcuts. The interchanging between the screens is very smooth operation while loading of the applications take a little while. The smartphone is well equipped with social networking services integration and all your contacts are presented in a detailed yet compact manner. In addition to SMS and MMS you can send Emails and you can also add POP3 and IMAP mail accounts. The phone is also backed up with instant messaging. You can use the Think Free Office application which enables you to view not only PDF files but also the file in Excel, Word and PowerPoint formats. The Indulge has 3.2 megapixel camera but with a relatively slow autofocus. The absence of color accuracy and flash light makes it unable to take quality pictures but in video recording the output is up to 720 x 480 pixels of resolution at 30 frames per second is very good when played on PC. The device can playback MP4, H.264, XviD and DivX but the colors will be dim. The music player can play the songs with an average playback quality. You can use the ear-piece of your choice with 3.5mm jack or a Bluetooth headset. Samsung Galaxy Indulge can use 3G or 4G network technologies but because of the lower resolutions mostly the web pages look pixelated and unreadable. The call performance of this smartphone is very good with no problem of background noise even if the volume is turned up. The phone supports 1500 mAh battery which gives a talk time of 5 hours and a stand by time of 12 days. So, overall Samsung Galaxy Indulge is a good smartphone but it has its limitations. It offers good user interface, call quality and battery performance which add to its pros. But the slow web browsing, downloading and low quality display will add to its cons.

LG OPTIMUS L9 P760 REVIEW
LG Announced LG Optimus L9 P760 on August 2012 and it will release on end of 2012. The LG Optimus L9 comes with IPS display that has a 540x960 qHD resolution that makes for a respectable 245 ppi density. We have seen some really excellent display from LG and LG has really made its name with its recently released excellent display handsets, and of course Optimus L9 is no different from that. Despite the fact that LG Optimus L9 does not have the highest resolution, it provides bright and vibrant displays with supers viewing angles thanks to its IPS technology. You will not have any problem in using Optimus L9 in any lighting condition. Furthermore, the clarity is also good enough. The L9 tried to emulate the style of more expensive phones with a metal-looking plastic edge, although that illusion vanished when you picked up the device and felt the plastic heft. The L9 is a bit more successful in pulling off that trick, and while it retains a thinner, metallic plastic edge, it looks more like a black slab phone that doesnt scream "budget." While it fairly slim at 9.1mm, were not sure it matches up the "sophisticated" label that LGs marketing department slapped on it. The front of the device is sleek and glossy, although the LG and T-Mobile logos at the top under the glass detract a bit from that. A slightly raised, oblong Home button at the bottom is the only thing that punctuates the Corning Gorilla Glass 2 front, with the Back and Menu keys under the glass on the touchscreen, and dark until you tap them. The sides are beveled, with the left side holding the volume rocker switch, which you can push in the middle to activate QuickMemo, while the right side only features the power button. The top holds the headset port and a sub-microphone, while the bottom is reserved for the charging port and the main microphone. The back side of the device is a improvement over the L7, featuring a stacked design with the camera, flash, and LG logo lined up on the top third of the back, and the horizontal speakerphone grill at lower left. There is a thumbnail notch on the back, just by the charging port, which you can use to easily lever the back off. Inside, in a surprisingly clean layout, you can access the micro SIM card, microSD card slot (accepts up to 32GB), and the removable battery. The LG Optimus L9 is skinned with LG familiar Optimus UI and based on Android 4.0.4. Though there is nothing new to talk about yet there are some unique features that Optimus L9 boasts. These features include QuickMemo that allows you to get down screenshots and SmartShare that allows you to stream content to a DLNA device. On the other hand, it does lack some of the Optimus G’s standout features that include QSlide and Live Zooming. With a 5 megapixel camera, the LG Optimus L9 produces acceptable and impressive results. Although, when you look at the images at full resolution you will find that details are blurry. On the other hand, color reproduction is fairly perfect. Outdoor images are better than indoor shots where even in strong light images appeared to be grainy. For Facebook and other sharing services, camera results are just fine but on the whole the camera is a bit of disappointment. You can record 1080p videos that turn out to be fairly well. However, background noise can be devastating. The camcorder similar to the camera, also lacks details but nevertheless is able to keep up with moving objects fairly well. The LG Optimus L9 multimedia contains media and video players that without any surprise perform just like you would expect them to. Moreover, Google Play Music is also pre-loaded for cloud streaming as well as local playback moreover there are a lot of other choices or alternatives available in the Play Store. The LG Optimus L9 has a snappy dual-core CPU, 4G, Android 4.0, and a 1080p HD camera. There is an FM radio on the LG Optimus L9 too with RDS support that you can use with a set of headphones or the loudspeaker. Either way, you need to plug in headphones as they act as an antenna. Performance wise as well, users will not have any problem as it is one of the more clear phones that we have tested so far. The voices are clear and loud and users do not have any problem in hearing the other party although they said there was a slight hollowness to it. With plenty of volume and natural voice reproduction, voices at the both end are great even with a noisy background, users will not have any problem in hearing their callers. The Optimus L9 runs on T-mobile’s 21Mbps network however it does not support the faster 42Mbps network. There are some other connectivity options too that include Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth 3.0. It also offers Wi-Fi direct for easy file-sharing. On the other hand, the handset lacks NFC that is found in the smaller L7 and several other Android handsets. As far as web browsing is concerned, no matter which browser you – the stock browser and Chrome – the results are just as you would expect. To be specify page loads quickly and panning, tapping and pinching produce good reliable results. During our video playback battery drain test, it lasted 7.75 hours. Anecdotally, it had a disappointing battery life. After spending a few hours playing games, watching videos, and surfing the Internet, the battery drained by a majority of its reserves and it needed a charge about halfway through the workday.

Samsung Galaxy J Unveiled Globally
Samsung have recently unveiled Samsung Galaxy J globally. Initially, it was unveiled in selected countries like Japan, Korea etc but now, it was announced globally.
Samsung Galaxy J is expected to launch in 2014 in various countries with tentative price of about $725 unlocked
Key features of Samsung Galaxy J include full HD 5 inch display with corning gorilla glass 3, 2.3GHz quad - core processor, 13.2MP rear camera, Android Jelly Bean 4.3, 3GB RAM.
Also, 4G LTE network would be supported on the device, Bluetooth 4.0, and every other features you would find in the recently released Samsung Galaxy S4.
Samsung Galaxy J would come in different colours and would be available for purchase next year.

Finally, phones running Android OS are easy to find, they can be very cheap and will also serve well as they can do everything required by todays standards of smartphones. They have a lot of applications that are useful for download which is the strong and selling points for Android phones. iOS Phones

Major Disadvantages of iOS Phones
One major disadvantage is that its not easy to share files from an iPhone to other non-iPhone devices especially through Bluetooth. iOS devices dont connect to other non-iOS devices under normal circumstances except if jailbroken and certain app is installed to make that happen.
Furthermore, ease of putting music and videos and making your mp3 songs as ringtones on iOS devices is small especially for someone that is not too knowledgeable with setting up smartphones.
Finally, iOS devices are not as cheap as their Android counterpart. SO if you are on a tight budget, you may not be able to afford an iOS device.
BlackBerry 10 Phone
BlackBerry 10 phones are the new phones manufactured by BlackBerry company. Example of such phones are Z10, Z30, Q5 and Q10.
Currently, BlackBerry 10 phones runs Blackberry 10 OS on them and are also made for both touchscreen and keyboard based phones. BlackBerry 10 is more very gesture based and as at this writing, the latest version is 10.2.1.
Major Advantage of BB10 Phones

Windows Phone OS

Major Disadvantages of Windows Phone OS
The major issue surrounding windows phones is that just like BlackBerry phones, they have limited amount of apps in trheir app store. A smartphone is generally as powerful as the number of applications it has which greatly increases the task and activities that the smartphone can do.
In totally, buying a smartphone is not just about the specs it has or the price tag attached to it but also on the kind of operating system the smartphone is running. The type of operating system will let you know exactly how powerful the smartphone can be with respect to available applications. Currently only Android, iOS and BB10 phones can use BBM while all of them can use Whatsapp.
Furthermore, ease of navigating and using the operating system will also become a factor when choosing smartphone especially when looking at the kind of person to use the smartphone.
As far as we are concerned, Android is the most flexible followed by followed BB10 devices and then Windows Phone devices and then Apple device.
In terms of ease of use, iPhone is the first followed by Android, Blackberry 10 and then Windows Phone devices.
