LG G3 is coming in May this year with 5 5 inch screen
LG is a famous electronic company of Korea . Its last year flagship LG G2 that was launched august 2013 has proved itselt a shining star in the Android range of company and it gets a big revenue for the company. A site in Korean has suggested that the next big thing from the company will be launched in May 2014. The flagship models have started and now LG is the target of conversations of the mobile phone lovers. It is also confirmed from several sources that the company is also working on a Optimus G Pro successor, which will be uncovered at the MWC early this year and after that LG G3 will be scheduled to launch in May.
LG unveiled the G2 relatively late last year – other companies like Samsung Sony and HTC announced their flagships in first quarter , while the G2 announcement came in August. The flagship launch timetable has been changed up this year, and the surprise is about to come from the Korean company .
According to the sources that have break the news of next flagship of the comany, the LG G3 will be allegedly launched on May 17, compared to the G2, which was released in September. There is hypothesis that this is to counter the upcoming Galaxy S5 that will perhaps launch in March.
The reports further tell that LG G3 will have a QHD (2,560 x 1,440) resolution in its next flagship and the screen size will be as big as 5.5". Both Samsung and Sonys upcoming flagships are rumored to have 5.2" QHD screens. It is interesting to know that 5.2" is the same size as the G2, while 5.5" is the same screen size of the favorite phone the Samsung Galaxy Note II.
LG will allegedly uncover the Optimus G Pro 2 in late February at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona , remember that the Optimus G Pro was also announced at the MWC last year. The second generation phablet is said to have a 5.9" screen and as well QHD.
Solid details on other specifications of both the upcoming phones are not known at the moment, but theres probably going to be a Snapdragon 80x chipset inside their hardware that will hopefully Snapdragon 805 and quite possibly a camera with OIS functionality. If the launches are indeed so close, we should be seeing leaks of near-final hardware soon, so we are sure to see them in news before the start of MWC 2014.
